In the NCAAF Week 10 Straight Up Top Hot Picks, three home teams top the list, Louisiana Tech over North Texas, Florida over Vanderbilt and W Kentucky Over Florida Atl, all look strong for the home win.  In the NCAAF ATS picks, road teams are the top selections,  UL Lafayette to cover at Georgia State,  Central Florida to cover at Tulsa and Iowa to cover at Indiana.

For the first time in about 6 years the NFL SU pick sources are all in full agreement on every game. The last time this happened, the system went 13-1 SU.  The NFL Week 9 Straight Up Picks again follow the oddsmakers line. Topping the SU Picks are all home favorites, Patriots over the REDSKINS, the Bengals over the Browns, and the Saints over the Titans.  In the NFL ATS predictions, favorites top the Hot Picks list,  New England is likely for the cover hosting underdog Washington,  NY Jets should cover visiting Jacksonville, Atlanta should cover at San Francisco.

Whew, NFL week 9 already. Nearly half the season is over and  we still have four unbeaten teams. I do expect one to drop  this week,after their first loss of the year the Packers should bounce back strongly against the Panthers. 

The NFL Week 9 Outlaw Line has some very strong favorites for straight up wins, the Patriots will dominate the REDSKINS and the Bengals will easily handle the Browns, even with Mr. Football stepping in.  Against the Spread, New England has good value over Washington, and Atlanta offers good value over a dazed and confused San Francisco. I also like the Jets over the Jags, but there is something off about this game. A closer look is needed.

As the NFL regular season statistical base continues to build, some key player losses in the NFL have required a few adjustments in the NFL Outlaw Line calculation.  While injuries are part of the game, and they often impact the entire team, let's hope they stay at a minimum. 

The NFL Week 4 Outlaw Line offers some strong probabilities for ATS action this week. Two home favorites, the Cardinals are highly probable for the win and cover hosting the Rams,  and the Broncos are also highly probable for the win and cover hosting the Vikings. As usual big surprises in the first week of NFL regular season play, featuring a bad news opener for some road favorites. The Colts losing to the Bills, the Seahawks downed by the Saints, and the Eagles and Vikings both losing Monday night.

The system went 11-5 overall straight up, with the hot picks 3-1 for Plus 5 units.  Week 1 ATS picks were a sad 6-9-1 overall, but the good news is that the hot picks went 2-0-1 for plus 4 units.

In the NFL Week 2 Outlaw Line there are a few standouts. The top probability picks are all road favorites, the Ravens are probable for the win and cover at the Raiders, the Cardinals are likely for the win and cover over the Bears, as are the Dolphins likely to win and cover over the Jaguars.

A good FCS game to open the 2015 season, I liked Montana plus the points, but I didn't think they would win.  

This week starts the NCAA FBS Schedule with many traditional games opening the season, perennial power teams crushing weaker ones as a tune up, and a few taking a chance on a big game opener, like Michigan and new coach Jim Harbaugh risking a likely first game loss with a visit to Utah.

Welcome back to another year of great Football! Let's have some more fun this year! Free Football Picks are back again! Last year went well,  2014 -2015 Football Season Final Results

 

The NFL Cheat Sheet is back and includes the NFL Weekly Schedule, Strength of Schedule, and my Final Standings Predictions for the NFL 2015 regular Season.

Right now the exhibition season is still under way, and I just don't bother to pick those games. If you want some advice on how to do it, generally in preseason the best coaches tend to cover the spreads.  The NFL Outlaw Line for 2015 Week 1 will be posted September 4, and the final picks for Week 1 on Thursday 9/10/15 before noon. 

 

NCAA Picks start  next week, I added the NCAA 2015 Weekly Schedule this year, if you want to take a look at it. College Football Picks will be posted on 9/2/15 before noon. The season starts with an FCS game,  No. 1 North Dakota State (0-0) at No. 13 Montana (0-0), this could actually be fun to watch! ESPN carries it at 3:30. Hi Football Fans! UPDATE!

Final NFL and NCAA Football Picks for the week are posted.  

This is a tough week for the NFL Week 11 picks, but there are some value selections. For the Moneyline Picks the Chargers should easily prevail over the visiting Raiders, the Broncos should get the win over the home dog Rams, and the Saints look good for the victory over the visiting Bengals, but it may be a close one. For the ATS predictions, the Chargers should also cover at home, the 49ers look good for the cover visiting the Giants, and Big Ben and the Steelers look good for the cover over the home dog Titans. 

In the NCAAF Week 12, moneyline picks are home favorites BYU and Western Michigan and TCU should win on the road at Kansas. All three offer good value.  The college football ATS Picks are topped off by a high value pick, Ball State to cover at Massachusetts, Oklahoma to cover over  Texas Tech, and LSU as a road dog to cover at Arkansas.

In NFL Week 10,  the Moneyline Picks have strong value, Broncos on the road over the Raiders, home favorite standouts Cardinals and Seahawks both are high probability for the wins. For the ATS predictions, the game in London tops the list, with the Cowboys expected to easily cover, then home favorites offer good value, with Ravens hosting the Titans and Seahawks hosting the Giants.

In the NCAAF Week 11, moneyline picks are home favorite Colorado State, Marshall as a road favorite and another home favorite Florida State,  all are high probability for the win.  The ATS Picks are topped off by all home favorites, Colorado State covering visiting Hawaii, Arkansas State with the win and cover over visiting S Alabama, and NC State covering visiting Georgia Tech.

In NFL Week 8, the Cowboys, Patriots and Browns have good value as straight up winners, and for the ATS predictions, the road favorite Dolphins and the road dog Vikings both offer good value against the point spread, as do the Lions covering the Falcons in London, England.  Expect an NFL Teaser Sunday Morning.


In the NCAAF Week 9, home favorites Missouri, East Carolina and Marshall top the list of moneyline picks, and the ATS Picks are led by home dog Ball State, and road dogs San Jose State and Georgia Tech.
