NFL Conference Championship Playoffs are Tomorrow! The weather still looks good for both games, and the fields are in good shape on the path to the Superbowl.  

The NFL Picks stay the same plus a teaser is added. Both the Patriots and the Panthers should win and both are probable to cover the spreads. The public thinks so too, most SU and ATS betting is on the favorites. Of course anything can and often does happen in professional football, especially in playoff games. The prior playoff rounds have been pretty predictable, the public bets have paid off big time along with a lot of prop bets and teaser bets that have hit. Will this trend continue? Rumors are that Vegas has taken teasers off the books this week, along with some props.

Championship weekend for most of college football, and a path to bowl games and the CFP title games. A lot at stake this weekend and you can expect to see these teams play to the best of their ability, or even better than that!

In the NCAAF Straight up predictions,  the strong favorites dominate the top of the list,  Baylor should dominate road dog Texas, Arkansas State should cover visiting underdog Texas State, and home favorite Georgia Southern looks good to cover Georgia State.   NCAAF ATS picks were tough to call but there are a few good probabilities, Michigan State offers strong value over underdog Iowa, New Mexico State should keep it close against UL Monroe, and Alabama should cover Florida. Upsets? Temple could do it to Houston!

For the NFL Straight Up picks, the Patriots get back on the winning track over the Eagles, the Bengals defeat the Browns, and the Panthers get the win over the Saints.  NFL ATS Picks have all road favorites as the top Hot Picks;  the Broncos to cover the home dog Chargers,  the road favorite Bengals to cover the Browns, and the Panthers to cover the home dog Saints.  Upsets? Both the Giants and the Ravens have a good shot. Only one undefeated team remains, the Carolina Panthers, and it looks like they will stay that way.

The final week of the NFL regular season, and the final scramble for playoff spots, division championships, rest on a bye week, and home field advantage. Week 17 is tough to call, because even though it is against league policy, there will be teams who will rest their starters, even take it a bit easy, after all, playing for first draft choice is also a kind of a win. The NFL Week 17 Outlaw Line,  the Steelers are at home, favored and playing for the division title. Big Ben will give it his all to get the win and is likely to cover the Bengals, the Patriots are also home favorites and have the division title, bye week and home field wrapped up. Brady likes to win, and a little fine tuning of the offense may be needed. I expect the Patriots to get the win and cover against the Bills, who are playing for pride, and a draft spot.  The Dolphins want this win against the road dog Jets and they should get a strong win and cover.  Upset? Maybe the Panthers, if Cam catches fire.

Whew, NFL Week 16 already, and no doubt there will be some surprises. Some teams, already out of the playoff race, will be "phoning it in" perhaps trying to move up in the draft, (absolutely against league policy) and other teams may also be looking ahead to next weeks game instead of concentrating on this week. Week 16 always holds a few surprises. And a key players may get rested if some big leads develop.

This is a tough week for handicapping, with so many variables. However, in the NFL Week 16 Outlaw Line, among the top picks this week there are a couple of value selections. Straight up, the Packers, Patriots and Seahawks are the strong favorites.  In the ATS picks, the home dog  Cardinals vs the Seahawks offers good value for the cover, Arizona should keep it close,  The Patriots are a road favorite at the Jets, this one looks to be a blowout with Good value for a New England cover, and the road favorite Lions visit the Bears, they should leave with a win and have good value for the cover. Upset?  The Colts over the Cowboys.

In NFL Week 10,  the Moneyline Picks have strong value, Broncos on the road over the Raiders, home favorite standouts Cardinals and Seahawks both are high probability for the wins. For the ATS predictions, the game in London tops the list, with the Cowboys expected to easily cover, then home favorites offer good value, with Ravens hosting the Titans and Seahawks hosting the Giants.

In NFL Week 9,  the Moneyline Picks are home favorite standouts, the Seahawks, the 49ers and the Bengals all should make the home team fans happy. For the ATS predictions, the home favorite Bengals should cover the Jaguars, the Seahawks should cover hosting the road dog Raiders, both games offer good value.  The Chargers may just win outright in a close game visiting the home favorite Dolphins.

Whew, halfway through the NFL 2014 Season already, and the quality teams are starting to show, with a surprise or two along the way. For Week 9 Moneyline Picks, the Bengals, the Chiefs, the Seahawks and the 49ers all stand out as highly likely winners, and for the ATS probabilities,  the Bengals have high value for the cover hosting the Jaguars, the Seahawks also should cover the visiting Raiders, and the road dog Chargers look strong for the upset win over the Dolphins.

This is a tough week in the NFL for the ATS Picks. The point spread lines look some pretty well balanced.  But then this is the NFL, and we all know that anything can and will happen on any given weekend. The top picks against the point spread do offer good value, the Vikings on the road should cover, and may win outright at Tampa Bay. The Dolphins road trip should prove successful with a win and cover against the Jaguars. Cleveland and Kansas City also both look good for the home win and cover. A couple additional upsets look likely, the Texans and the Steelers for the wins.
