Hi NFL Playoff Football Fans!

Posting the Outlaw Line a bit early again this week. Last weekend the final picks were 4-0 sweep on the straight up picks, 3-1 on the ATS predictions and even got 3-0-1 on the Over/Under calls.   NFL Picks Results  I don't think I underestimated the Patriots last weekend, I overestimated the Chiefs defense against Tom Brady. 

NFL Conference Championship Playoffs! Now this is serious football. I have no doubt the four best teams in the NFL are playing on Sunday. In fact, in my opinion, the best two are playing each other, the Cardinals and the Panthers. The LVSC spreads seem about right. The Patriots are favored by three on the road at an oxygen poor Mile High Stadium in Denver,  and the Panthers favored at home by three also hosting the Cardinals.

Posting the lines a bit early this week.

NFL Divisional Playoffs! Last weekend had a bit of everything in it. Wild finishes and strange events, especially that Steelers/Bengals game. Foolish player actions cost the Bengals that win,  but that sure helped me,  4-0 sweep on the straight up picks, and 3-0-1 on the ATS predictions.  Final NFL Regular season went pretty well this year, positive units in all NFL Picks categories, you can see the results here: NFL Picks Results

This week the home teams are well rested, with an extra week off, with time to work on game plans and practice newly designed plays. The NFL Playoffs Outlaw Line Straight Up predictions mostly favor these home teams with one exception.  For the NFL ATS Playoff Predictions this week, these spreads look pretty high to me,  some of these home teams may not cover.

The NFL Week 16 Outlaw Line Straight Up predictions show the Panthers highly likely to remain unbeaten, the Seahawks are home and are very probable for the win and Big Ben and the Steelers should get their 4th win in a row.  In the NFL ATS Predictions this week, Carolina tops the list to cover the home dog Falcons, road favorite Houston should cover Tennessee, and Kansas City should cover road dog Cleveland. Upsets? The Bears could get the win at Tampa Bay.

Again controversy over officiating this week, with some particularly bad calls made, and missed. One of the worst bad calls was a chop block called on the Lions. Game outcomes are being decided by these calls, and futures of players, coaches, and teams are on the line. If this is not soon resolved, there will be questions raised about the integrity of NFL football.

The NFL Week 15 Outlaw Line Straight Up winner predictions are strong home favorites, both Seattle and New England should easily get the win for the home crowds.  In the NFL ATS Predictions this week, the banged up Patriots give up a lot of points to the Titans, but still have value for the cover, the Packers should cover the home dog Raiders, and the road favorite Bengals should cover the 49ers.

Championship weekend for most of college football, and a path to bowl games and the CFP title games. A lot at stake this weekend and you can expect to see these teams play to the best of their ability, or even better than that!

In the NCAAF Straight up predictions,  the strong favorites dominate the top of the list,  Baylor should dominate road dog Texas, Arkansas State should cover visiting underdog Texas State, and home favorite Georgia Southern looks good to cover Georgia State.   NCAAF ATS picks were tough to call but there are a few good probabilities, Michigan State offers strong value over underdog Iowa, New Mexico State should keep it close against UL Monroe, and Alabama should cover Florida. Upsets? Temple could do it to Houston!

This week I have to comment on the terrible officiating we are seeing in the NFL this year. It seems it just keep getting worse, and even the broadcast crews are openly discussing it. The officials too often are deciding the game outcomes.  Wins, losses, trips to the Playoffs, all are at stake and it is starting make many question the "integrity of the game" as the commissioner calls it. Replays have not solved the problem. Something is amiss.

The NFL Week 13 Outlaw Line predicts some strong wins straight up, Cincinnati with a big win over Cleveland, Carolina should easily defeat home dog New Orleans, and Chicago as a home favorite should get the win over San Francisco.  And for the NFL ATS Predictions this week, the Bengals top the list, to cover the Browns, the Panthers cover the Saints and the Broncos cover the Chargers.

A great meal and some great football! An exciting weekend in the NFL starts Thursday at 12:30 and lasts into the late night. After ten games, there are still two unbeaten teams remaining, both have a challenge this week. The playoff picture is starting to shape up, and this weekend will provide a better look at who is out and who is in. 

The NFL Week 12 Outlaw Line predicts some strong wins straight up, the Bengals are highly probable to defeat the road dog Rams, the Cardinals are probable for the win at the home dog 49ers, and the home favorite Packers look strong for the win against the Bears. For predictions against the spread, Cincinnati should cover St Louis and Green Bay should cover Chicago. Upsets? In the NCAAF Week 10 Straight Up Top Hot Picks,  home teams dominate the list, TCU over Kansas, Tennessee over North Texas and Navy over SMU.  In the NCAAF ATS picks, two road favorites are the top selections,  UTSA for the win and cover at Charlotte and Temple for the win and cover at South Florida,  and Iowa to win and cover road dog Minnesota.

The NFL Week 10 Straight Up Picks feature some very likely wins for the favored teams. The Packers over the Lions tops the list, the Bengals over the Texans and the Panthers over the Titans. None of the unbeaten teams seem likely to lose this week. Upsets? Two of them predicted this week, Vikings over the Raiders and the Cowboys over the Bucs.
