More on the terrible officiating we are seeing in the NFL this year. Too many overturned calls, red flags that turned out to be the correct move, missed calls, bad calls, wrong calls, and disputed calls. What is going on? Games are too often being decided by officials. Consistent inconsistency seems to be the norm. One crew calls them tight, another crew gives the players leeway. A closer look is needed. 

The NFL Week 14 Outlaw Line Straight Up winner predictions are strong home favorites, Denver, Carolina and the NY Jets all look to please the home crowds with victories this week.  And for the NFL ATS Predictions this week, the Broncos should also cover the Raiders, the Patriots cover the Texans and the Panthers cover the Falcons.  Upsets? This week I have to comment on the terrible officiating we are seeing in the NFL this year. It seems it just keep getting worse, and even the broadcast crews are openly discussing it. The officials too often are deciding the game outcomes.  Wins, losses, trips to the Playoffs, all are at stake and it is starting make many question the "integrity of the game" as the commissioner calls it. Replays have not solved the problem. Something is amiss.

The NFL Week 13 Outlaw Line predicts some strong wins straight up, Cincinnati with a big win over Cleveland, Carolina should easily defeat home dog New Orleans, and Chicago as a home favorite should get the win over San Francisco.  And for the NFL ATS Predictions this week, the Bengals top the list, to cover the Browns, the Panthers cover the Saints and the Broncos cover the Chargers.

A great meal and some great football! An exciting weekend in the NFL starts Thursday at 12:30 and lasts into the late night. After ten games, there are still two unbeaten teams remaining, both have a challenge this week. The playoff picture is starting to shape up, and this weekend will provide a better look at who is out and who is in. 

The NFL Week 12 Outlaw Line predicts some strong wins straight up, the Bengals are highly probable to defeat the road dog Rams, the Cardinals are probable for the win at the home dog 49ers, and the home favorite Packers look strong for the win against the Bears. For predictions against the spread, Cincinnati should cover St Louis and Green Bay should cover Chicago. Upsets? Look for the Chargers to win outright over the Jaguars, the Dolphins may pull it off against the Jets,  and the Vikings will pull out all the stops trying for a big win over the Falcons.

Week 10 was a wild week in the NFL. 11 Upsets (plus or minus one or two)! A bad call that cost a win (again). A serious wipeout week for the public.  The Sportsbooks are most likely still celebrating, and counting all that money! Sometimes it really makes me wonder. 

The NFL Week 11 Outlaw Line shows three strong home favorites with strong value for the win and cover. The Philadelphia Eagles should win and cover the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the New England Patriots should win and cover the Buffalo Bills, and the Carolina panthers should win and cover the Washington REDSKINS.  Upsets? A couple possibilities:  St Louis Rams over the Baltimore Ravens and the Houston Texans over the New York Jets.  With a healthy Peyton Manning, the Denver Broncos should get the win over the Chicago Bears.

Whew, NFL week 9 already. Nearly half the season is over and  we still have four unbeaten teams. I do expect one to drop  this week,after their first loss of the year the Packers should bounce back strongly against the Panthers. 

The NFL Week 9 Outlaw Line has some very strong favorites for straight up wins, the Patriots will dominate the REDSKINS and the Bengals will easily handle the Browns, even with Mr. Football stepping in.  Against the Spread, New England has good value over Washington, and Atlanta offers good value over a dazed and confused San Francisco. I also like the Jets over the Jags, but there is something off about this game. A closer look is needed.

After an eventful preseason featuring some great games we have a hint of how this season may shape up.  But then anything can and does happen in the NFL.  Last year the system delivered some good results, you can see them here: 2014 NFL Results

In the NFL Week 1 Outlaw Line there are some standout teams that look to start off win decisive wins at home, A fired up Tom Brady should lead the Patriots to a strong win and cover hosting the Steelers,  the Panthers will likely win and cover on the road at Jacksonville,  and the Bengals look to get off to a strong start.  Upsets? Maybe. Curt Cousins could inspire the REDSKINS and the Lions may just roar.

A good FCS game to open the 2015 season, I liked Montana plus the points, but I didn't think they would win.  

This week starts the NCAA FBS Schedule with many traditional games opening the season, perennial power teams crushing weaker ones as a tune up, and a few taking a chance on a big game opener, like Michigan and new coach Jim Harbaugh risking a likely first game loss with a visit to Utah.
