In the NCAAF Week 9 Straight Up Top Hot Picks, road favorite Marshall should prevail over Charlotte,  Memphis should defeat road dog Tulane, and Oklahoma should win over home dog Kansas.   In the NCAAF ATS picks, road favorite Marshall should cover over Charlotte, Nebraska should cover over home dog Purdue, and road dog Wyoming should keep it closer then 4 touchdowns at Utah State.
 
The NFL Week 8 Straight Up Picks follow the oddsmakers line picking the firm favorites; Patriots over the Dolphins, the Falcons over the Buccaneers, and the Panthers over the Colts. In the NFL ATS predictions, three home favorites top the Hot Picks list,  New England is likely for the cover hosting underdog Miami, Atlanta should cover visiting Tampa Bay, and  Carolina at home to cover Indianapolis.

Final NFL and NCAA Football Picks for the week are posted. 

NCAAF College Bowl Season has started! The picks link is posted below, there are four pages, one listing all games in bowl date order, and one each for the ATS picks, the Straight Up picks and the Totals picks, all sorted and ranked by probability. Remember, this is Bowl Season! Very often we get surprises!

In the NFL straight up picks,  dominate teams are strongly favored, and on a path to the playoffs, the Patriots and the Packers both heavy road favorites are highly likely to get the win, and the Eagles and Bills should also win SU. For the NFL ATS picks, the home dog Cardinals Defense should keep the score very close against the Seahawks, the Patriots should cover the home dog Jets by two TDs at least, unless Tom Brady needs a nap, and I expect the road favorite Lions to blow out the Bears in the Windy City. Upsets? Colts could do it.

Final NFL and NCAA Football Picks for the week are posted.  

This is a tough week for the NFL Week 11 picks, but there are some value selections. For the Moneyline Picks the Chargers should easily prevail over the visiting Raiders, the Broncos should get the win over the home dog Rams, and the Saints look good for the victory over the visiting Bengals, but it may be a close one. For the ATS predictions, the Chargers should also cover at home, the 49ers look good for the cover visiting the Giants, and Big Ben and the Steelers look good for the cover over the home dog Titans. 

In the NCAAF Week 12, moneyline picks are home favorites BYU and Western Michigan and TCU should win on the road at Kansas. All three offer good value.  The college football ATS Picks are topped off by a high value pick, Ball State to cover at Massachusetts, Oklahoma to cover over  Texas Tech, and LSU as a road dog to cover at Arkansas.

In NFL Week 9,  the Moneyline Picks are home favorite standouts, the Seahawks, the 49ers and the Bengals all should make the home team fans happy. For the final regular season week in the NFL, determining which teams will decide to play but rest, play hard for a win, play for pride or just give up and lay down, is tough. The Chiefs have said they will rest up, so will a few others. Some teams will most likely just give up, and those in disarray will coast through the games. 

In the Week 17 NFL ATS Picks the Seahawks want the win over the Rams and should dominate at home, the Patriots are highly motivated hosting the Bills, and the Eagles strongly want the win visiting the Cowboys. Things can change, so check back for updates.

It gets tougher each week to handicap the NFL games. From some of the patterns I am seeing, it looks like a good week to go light on picks, I expect there may be some surprises in store for us.
