NFL Week 10 Outlaw Line plus early Week ATS Picks

Hi Football Fans!

Lots of upsets in the NFL last week, but we managed to stay in positive units for the week.

The NFL Week 10 Outlaw Line has some value in the home favorite Cardinals for the win and cover against the Texans,  the Lions should win and cover the spread at the Bears Den with Cutler out, the Seahawks look strong for the win and cover over the Falcons, and the Bucs may just break that losing streak as home dogs against the Dolphins.

NFL Week 9 Outlaw Line Point Spread Predictions & Early ATS Picks

 

Hi Football Fans!

The NFL Week 9 Outlaw Line has a couple of standouts, the Colts as road favorites over the Texans, and the home favorite Panthers over the Falcons. It needs a closer look, but the home dog Raiders look good for the win and cover over the Eagles, and the Packers should roll over the Cutler-less Bears.

 

The final NFL Picks will be out Thursday around Noon EST, along with the NCAA College Football Predictions.  For tonight., I like  Memphis +3  over  Cincinnati , under  45, but no units.

NFL Week 5 was a bit of a bust, and I am still steamed about the Lions waiting until Sunday to announce Calvin Johnson was out.  The system now has 5 weeks of live play stats and I look for a more consistent output for the picks.

 

This week in the NFL ATS Picks  the home dog Ravens offer good value to cover, even win outright, home favorites Texans, Cowboys, and Jets should all cover this week. 

The NCAAF ATS Picks feature Kansas State covering as a home dog, Northern Illinois covering the spread at home, and road dog Rice for the cover and maybe the win. Army at home looks to have value also.

Week 6 NFL Outlaw Line Point Spread Predictions ATS Picks

Some surprises last week in the NFL, and it shows the impact of the NFL Injury lists, with the best example of Calvin Johnson out in the Lions game. What a year so far, the NY Giants 0-5, the Chiefs 5-0, and 2-3 good enough for the NFC East lead.

In early Week 6 NFL selections, a couple home dogs, the Ravens and the Bills look good for the cover, and the home favorite Cowboys and Texans both look strong for the win and cover. The oddsmakers have put out some strong lines for the divisional picks. At the divisional round of playoffs over the last few years, bye week teams have had the worst of it, going 11-17 ATS since 2005, and road team wild card winners are 9-3 ATS in the divisional round since 2005.

 

The NFL Outlaw Line seems to like the dogs, the Packers and Seahawks both for the road dog win and cover. I plan to do some deep analysis before the final picks are out Thursday afternoon.

Wild Card Weekend NFL Playoff Picks ATS Totals Predictions

Hi Football Fans!

NFL Wild Card Weekend, some great football to watch Saturday and Sunday.

Some NFL betting trends for the NFL Wild Card Playoffs  to consider.

Home dogs are 13-4 ATS since 1978.

Wild Card Games tend to the under. The last 10 years there have seen 14 overs and 26 unders, with the recent games 14 of 20 games going under the final points total.

The break seems to be 45 points. Games total points for 45 or higher gave us 5 overs and 8 unders in the last ten years. 3 overs and 6 unders over the past 5 years.

Some Team Trends:

Cincinnati is 0-5 ATS in its last 5 games when playing Houston.

Minnesota is 1-5 ATS in its last 6 games when playing on the road against Green Bay.
Baltimore is 0-5 ATS in its last 5 games when playing Indianapolis overall and 0-5 ATS in its last 5 games when playing at home against Indianapolis.
Seattle is 2-5-1 ATS in its last 8 games when playing Washington, and 2-4 ATS in its last 6 games when playing on the road against Washington. Washington is 6-2 straight up in its last 8 games when playing Seattle.

So do we buck the trends or not? Last year all the home teams won, The home favorites all covered big time, and the only home dog ( at -9 ) won SU by 6. Did the oddsmakers adjust this year?

Note, There will be an update for a teaser and I am undecided right now about Seattle at Washington, I think the Seahawks will dominate, but I can't bring myself to go against RGIII and the Redskins streak.

NFL Week 14 Outlaw Line with Point Spread and Totals Picks

Hi Football Fans!

The NFL this week has some great matchups, especially the Monday night game with the Texans at New England. Both teams are in the playoffs and are riding a 5 game winning streak. The Patriots need this win and I suspect they get it.

 

The NFL ATS Picks this week trend to the favorites in most games, for the win and cover, I especially like the Falcons over the Panthers and the Jets over the Jaguars. And I think RGIII will keep the Redskins on a roll.

 

The Steelers game is off, waiting to see if Big Ben is back and ready to rumble. We should have an update tomorrow with the injury report.

Things are heating up in the NFL just as we wind down the College Football Season. Slim pickings this week in the NCAA, one value pick ATS, I do like Alabama to roll over Georgia with a win and cover.

Among the NFL ATS top picks, the road favorite Texans and Patriots should both get a strong win and cover, along with the Panthers. The road dog Browns may surprise the Raiders and the oddsmakers, and the Lions need a win at home, they should get it and cover against the Colts.
