A bit lighter on the units this week, for NFL ATS Picks, the Steelers and the 49ers should win and cover despite the big spreads, and I also like the Dolphins and Giants to cover.

A bit late today, some of the Consensus Survey sites are still late, due to Sandy.

 

I have a lot of units at stake this week, for NFL ATS the Texans, the Bears and the Lions look to have value and should cover, and the Falcons look close enough to risk a unit. Monday night I see the Eagles keeping it close, should be a good game.

 

For the NCAA picks, TCU should keep it close with W Virginia, and Oregon St and Cincinnati should cover.

I have avoided saying anything thus far about the incredibly bad officiating at the NFL games in the first three weeks, but now it has become so blatant that it cannot be ignored. At least a dozen games have had the outcome and the score affected by bad or missed calls, and the worst example was the end of the Monday Night Game. This looks like a great weekend for football! In NCAA College Football, there are some tune-up games that look to be fun for the home teams, and these are very strong favorites straight up.

 

Some serious surprises last week in the NFL but the quality teams will prevail in the long run. The DoverPro NFL ATS Picks are off to a slow start this season, but  they do get better as the system develops. Four weeks is a good measure for the stats to develop.

This week, for the NFL a couple upsets look likely, the Ravens and Dolphins may do it, overall the ATS picks are not strong this week, so I am going light. This year there are two landing pages, NCAA College Football Picks and NFL Picks.

Ok, NFL FOOTBALL Week 2! Last week was not my best ATS week for NCAA, and only mediocre for the NFL, but the OU picks did look pretty good. The system takes a few weeks to build the statistical base for regulation play, usually around 4-5 weeks of play. A few surprises, early week I like a couple dogs to win outright, Miami, the Jets, and the Ravens. Be sure to check back for the final picks, though, things can change.

NFL Opening Weekend! All the teams are tied, LOL, for first place, but not for long. There are some strong picks from the computer this week, but please remember this is early in the season, and the DoverPro Football Picks System works best after a few weeks of real game statistics.

I put the picks out a bit early this week, due to the schedules, and there most likely will be an update over the weekend, I need a closer look at the Seahawks-Cardinals game and the Bills-Jets. I do like those Lions ATS as the top pick.

NCAA College Football Picks and Predictions Week 1 2012

HI football fans!

Welcome back! The 2012 Football Season is officially underway with Week 1 of the NCAA College Football games this weekend. It seems like forever since the last real football game!  I do not count NFL Exhibition games (Read scrimmage/practice contests) as real football, LOL. There are some good games this weekend, and a few surprises in store for us. Keep in mind on opening NCAA weekend typically stronger higher ranked teams bring in weak opponents and then proceed to demolish them. This year there are a few exceptions, like MSU hosting Boise St, and Michigan vs Alabama!
