NFL Outlaw Line Week 7 Early ATS Picks final score predictions

Hi Football Fans!

Fall is here and Halloween is approaching us, Haunted Houses and fun
nights, and of course Great Football Games!.                         

The DoverPro Outlaw Line is now published for NFL Week 6 and contains the NFL

Halloween is here, time for Haunted Houses!                

Some changes to the site this week,  a new NFL Page for the Over Under
Points Totals instead of just listing them on the ATS picks page. And some
revisions to the NFL ATS selection process, this week the ATS picks looked very
good, almost too easy and that does make me a bit nervous. And a new Halloween
theme!  Overall the system is in positive units YTD, except for
the NFL ATS, and that should soon change.

NFL Picks Week 4 NCAA Picks Week 5

Hi Football Fans!

Things look a bit better this week, and there are some changes in store for the picks pages next week, along with a bit more fine tuning. The NFL SU picks look very strong for the Packers and Saints, but ATS, I see them failing to cover, a tough week to make ATS picks though, so go light. College Picks this week mark the start of the Conference Games, so the odds are settling down, and there is some value in the picks this week.

Based on computer statistical analysis of the NFL Power Rankings the NFL Outlaw line this week had some excess standard deviations, most likely from the games last week, where a number of teams just seemed to fizzle. Keep in mind the NFL Outlaw Line grows more accurate as the regular season is played out.

NFL 2009 Preseason Picks Tips

Preseason NFL Football is mostly a crapshoot for betting purposes. There are some schools of thought about line value or line movement that tell you to look for these shifts and bet the trend, but for the most part they are simply saying a line shift means someone may know something. I don't necessarily agree. I like to take the dogs, even though I would never seriously bet the NFL preseason games. But if you must, I suggest a few thoughts to consider. First, find a heavy public consensus favored play and go the other way. Teams getting a 70%+ of the action preseason usually are over subscribed and often don't cover. The only line changes I consider are when the line for the dog moves, and the dog is getting points. Taking the dog here would be automatic for me. This is usually an overreaction by the oddsmakers to an event and does provide some value. And I would weight the coach and his status and situation strongly. A new Coach, anxious to get a win, will play for one into the second half. Consider the Detroit Lions first 2009 Preseason game. If ever a coach absolutely needed a win, that game was it. In evaluating any preseason game, put your head into where you think the coachs mind is. As we look at the 3rd game for preseason, this is as close to seeing what the regular season will bring, the most meaningful game. Use this information for your week 1 team evaluations. The last preseason week's games will be simply the final culling, and will not be indicative of the regular season.
