NFL Conference Championship Playoffs are Tomorrow! The weather still looks good for both games, and the fields are in good shape on the path to the Superbowl.  

The NFL Picks stay the same plus a teaser is added. Both the Patriots and the Panthers should win and both are probable to cover the spreads. The public thinks so too, most SU and ATS betting is on the favorites. Of course anything can and often does happen in professional football, especially in playoff games. The prior playoff rounds have been pretty predictable, the public bets have paid off big time along with a lot of prop bets and teaser bets that have hit. Will this trend continue? Rumors are that Vegas has taken teasers off the books this week, along with some props.

NFL Conference Championship Playoffs! Weather appears not to be a factor for these games, both stadiums are open air, and game time temperatures will be moderate, in the low forties, great football weather. Home field has value this weekend, traveling can be disruptive, and the locals know where the visiting teams stay. 

The Patriots will be ready for the altitude, Belichick will make sure of that, and Brady will be fired up to get to another Superbowl. The Broncos are home with Manning motivated. There's speculation that Peyton will retire if he wins the Superbowl.  New England is favored, they have an uphill battle, but should prevail. The Panthers are perfect at home this year, and Newton is healthy and ready for the Cardinals. Arians will turn Palmer loose, no more conservative play, and this might play into Carolina's strength. The Panthers should move on to the Superbowl.

Hi NFL Playoff Football Fans!

Posting the Outlaw Line a bit early again this week. Last weekend the final picks were 4-0 sweep on the straight up picks, 3-1 on the ATS predictions and even got 3-0-1 on the Over/Under calls.   NFL Picks Results  I don't think I underestimated the Patriots last weekend, I overestimated the Chiefs defense against Tom Brady. 

NFL Conference Championship Playoffs! Now this is serious football. I have no doubt the four best teams in the NFL are playing on Sunday. In fact, in my opinion, the best two are playing each other, the Cardinals and the Panthers. The LVSC spreads seem about right. The Patriots are favored by three on the road at an oxygen poor Mile High Stadium in Denver,  and the Panthers favored at home by three also hosting the Cardinals.

Whew, a great NFL Football Weekend. The Divisional Playoffs always seem to bring a major surprise and we sure got one this time around.  Denver losing was a shock, certainly to most of the public. There is a rumor about Peyton Manning nursing an unreported long term injury, causing some controversy. The other games went pretty much as predicted, but sure made for good football! The final teams for the SuperBowl are shaping up, but there is one last hitch. They have to win on Sunday to get there. 

The NFL Conference Championships 2015 Outlaw Line, the favored home teams look strong for the win again, with the Patriots likely for the win and cover over the Colts, and the Packers should be able to keep it close against the Seahawks. But you never know, and a favorable bounce could put Green Bay in the SuperBowl!

NFL Conference Championship Playoffs Picks 2012

Hi Football Fans! Updated

Wow! The Divsional Playoffs were some of the most exciting contests of the year, no disappointments in the action, although a lot of fans are wondering whether the real Packers missed the bus.

Now for the Superbowl Showdown, only two teams move on after this week and they play for all the marbles. These are a couple tough games to handicap, I expect all the teams will play tight, and a lot of the public cappers like the Giants for the win and cover. I'm going light across the board for now, I am just not sure I have a good handle on this game.

Will it be a Brother Jim Verses Brother John Superbowl? I don't see it that way. Brady is Red Hot, was it Tebow-Phobia or will he stay on the streak? In games like these, emotion and drive can overcome a lot of shortcomings, and I think we will see some more great football again in the Week 20 Playoffs.

NFL Playoffs Picks 2011 Conference Championship Green Bay at Chicago NY Jets At Pittsburgh

HI Football Fans!


Sunday is the day! We finally will see who plays in the 2011 Superbowl.

The Green Bay Packers still look strong with good value in the lines also. Although the Chicago Bears have the home field advantage, at this level of play that becomes less of a factor. Rodgers and the Pack offense are red hot right now, and Cutler and the Bears will have to play up to it to move on. Stopping the Pack will be tough.

The Pittsburgh Steelers with Mendenhall will be pounding out yards and their offense will be up to the task, but the NY Jets may keep it close, even against the stingy Steelers defense. I expect to see Sanchez hurried at lot and on the turf a few times, while Big Ben is a bit more elusive. Power football will make the difference.

The Jets are 4 point road dogs at Pittsburgh and the Steelers play very tough at home, this one will be close, right down to the wire.
